Incredible Progress in South Sudan
In the midst of challenging conditions in South Sudan, where limited infrastructure and resources test the perseverance of translation teams, incredible progress is being made. By God’s grace and through the dedication of local translators and partnering churches, several language groups have completed translating their New Testaments and are eager to start on their Old Testaments. This milestone represents not only their commitment to God’s Word but also the hope and transformation it brings to their communities. Despite the harsh realities, these teams press on, fueled by the vision of seeing every people group in South Sudan with access to the Bible in their heart language.
Exciting news from Nigeria
We are thrilled to share about a new Bible translation partner in Nigeria who is making a significant impact! This dedicated partner is committed to providing ongoing support, training, follow-up, and scripture engagement programs to empower local churches in their translation efforts. At an initial seven-day workshop, three new translation teams representing three language communities accomplished an incredible milestone by completing several chapters from the Gospel of Luke. This collaboration is a powerful example of how God is working through partnerships to bring His Word to every heart language.
